About Us

Western Synod Support Group (WSSG) is founded by the descendants from the Bdoji area dispersed around the globe to assist the Western Synod in the fall of 2019. Some of the founding mem- bers, who participated in the short-term financial assistance, recommended a long -term commitment to alleviate the West- ern Synod’s lingering problems. The matter was thoroughly discussed among members and agreed upon to form the Western Synod Support Group. Hence WSSG was formally founded in January 2020. But before the formal foundation of the Group, founding members had been regularly meeting and discussing on the matter since early 2019.

Our Mission

The mission of the Western Syn- od Support Group /WSSG/ is to assist the works of Evangelism to enlighten the life of nations by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also support the Synod in every aspects of their wholistic ministries.

The initiative of forming the sup- port group – WSSG was emerged from the founding members, to pro- vide level best support pertaining to the great historical works of Evange- lism, developmental, and community services of the Western Synod and its current state.

1 Timothy 6: 17-19 17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. . 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
